John-Michael is/was that kid who took things apart. He is 23 and a resident of sunny Austin Texas where he uses his peripheral understanding of electrical engineering to make things that go whrrrr, beep and/or pop.

Most of my work is done from scratch. Housings and miscellaneous parts are almost always from thrift stores. The circuits are of my own design, inspired in part by Radio Shack golden age engineers like Forrest Mims.
